Which link are they using here?

In chapter 2 lecture find command
instructor copied link/URI from “connect to sandbox” UI which looks like this:
‘mongo “mongodb+srv://sandbox.buabh.mongodb.net/” --username m001-student’
but in the command in the IDE of the instructor is different
'mongo “mongodb+srv://:@.mongodb.net/admin” ’
which URI am i suppose to use here?

Welcome @pramod_gaikwad,

You’re supposed to use the string that appears when clicking “connect to sandbox” in your personal session. It’s unique (so it won’t be the same as the instructor’s uri).

yes from connect to sandbox i get a unique but the instructor ued mongo “mongodb+srv://username:password@cluster.mongodb.net/admin”

I see @pramod_gaikwad,

There are many ways to specify the connection string.

mongo “mongodb+srv://sandbox.buabh.mongodb.net/” --username m001-student
or
mongo “mongodb+srv://sandbox.buabh.mongodb.net/” -u m001-student
or
mongo “mongodb+srv://m001-student:password@sandbox.buabh.mongodb.net/”

Indicate the same thing.

ok i see now,
if i use this,
mongo “mongodb+srv://sandbox.buabh.mongodb.net/” --username m001-student
i will have to enter password in the IDE,
and with
mongo “mongodb+srv://m001-student:password@sandbox.buabh.mongodb.net/”
the password is already there and both will lead to same location.
Thank You @Santiago_Miranda

Yes, well done

You’re welcome.
