Want to learn to build an iOS App with Swift and Realm?

Hi folks!

I’m going to drop in on the https://twitch.tv/mongodb channel tomorrow (Oct 9, 2020) at 1pm ET and give a live-code demonstration of creating an iOS app with Swift and Realm. This stream will be for folks that want to gain a better understanding of what Realm DB is, how it can be used with mobile application development.

If you want to watch and code-along, you’ll need to have the following in place:

  1. A MacOS device… not iOS, or tabletOS (or watchOS).
  2. Xcode installed. You can use 11.6 or the latest release which is version 12 (with Swift 5.3)
  • Get this from the Apple App Store
  1. CocoaPods - you can install this with brew
  • brew install cocoapods

Be ready with your questions - we’ll have @Ian_Ward and @Shane_McAllister on hand to help answer questions and share their experience with this amazing platform.

I hope to see you there! Let me know if you’ve got any questions ahead of the stream.

Regards,
Mike
