VERR_VMX_NO_VMX Error starting vagrant

I’m trying to follow the instructions for the first lab and have got to the point of trying to bring up the VM for vargrant. I’m seeing the following error:

There was an error while executing VBoxManage, a CLI used by Vagrant
for controlling VirtualBox. The command and stderr is shown below.

Command: [“startvm”, “6c79d1d7-1c15-4b2d-a615-4b4bb9443b39”, “–type”, “headless”]

Stderr: VBoxManage.exe: error: The native API dll was not found (C:\WINDOWS\system32\WinHvPlatform.dll) (VERR_NEM_NOT_AVAILABLE).
VBoxManage.exe: error: VT-x is not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX)
VBoxManage.exe: error: Details: code E_FAIL (0x80004005), component ConsoleWrap, interface IConsole

I see a similar error if I try to start the image in VirtualBox. I’ve checked that my machine has Hyper-V running and everything looks fine.
I’m running Windows 10 Enterprise.

Thanks in advance

It looks like the following reference may help. It appears that Hyper-V is incompatible with Virtual Box. The post here gives instructions on how to fix that. Good luck.

Great. That worked.
Thanks a lot
