Vagrant up Linux

I have installed Vagrant(Vagrant 2.0.2) and VM(Version 6.0.14 r133895 (Qt5.9.5)).
I have also created the folder “m103-vagrant-env” with files “Vagrantfile and provision-mongod”.
the path of the file is “~/mongodb/university/m103/m103-vagrant-env”.

But when i try to run vagrant up I get this.
Bringing machine ‘mongod-m103’ up with ‘libvirt’ provider…

Hi @Ravibhushan_Singh_21213,

This is the problem! It looks like you’re already using a different type of VM provider on your machine?

Follow these steps:

  1. Open your Environment Variables and confirm that you have a system variable called VBOX_MSI_INSTALL_PATH or VBOX_INSTALL_PATH
    image
  2. Open a new terminal and run the following commands:
    vagrant destroy -f
    vagrant up --provider=virtualbox

Hi @007_jb,

It looks like that @Ravibhushan_Singh_21213 is using a linux machine.

Hi @Ravibhushan_Singh_21213,

Run the following commands and see if this resolves the issue. If it doesn’t then downgrading the VirtualBox version to 5.2 might work as well.

Thanks,

Ah I see @Shubham_Ranjan :+1:

Installing VirtualBox version to 5.2 did the job. Thanks.

Closing the thread as the issue has been resolved.
