I’m facing a problem which doesn’t allow me to continue my work with mongodb. After installing mongodb I try running mongod but it exits by itself so I’m not able to work with it. Apparently I’m not alone (you can see the output in Stackoverflow)

On which os you ran mongod?Windows or some other
The example you gave from stack clearly shows mongod is terminated as the address is in use which means you cannot run two mongods on same port
In your case it could be different
So please give more details
