Unable to launch run.py per readme.rst

I have my environment in Mac OSX 10.14 and have set up the Atlas Cluster and loaded the data. Next, I renamed dotini and then proceeded to run python run.py.

I get this response:
JRs-MacBook-Pro:mflix-python sandeepmohan$ python run.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "run.py", line 1, in <module> from mflix.factory import create_app File "/Users/sandeepmohan/Desktop/Mongo_for_python/m220/mflix-python/mflix/factory.py", line 3, in <module> from flask import Flask, render_template ImportError: No module named flask JRs-MacBook-Pro:mflix-python sandeepmohan$

So I looked at factory.py and figured it wanted me to install the Flask package.

I have loaded it but still get the same response. Is there something I’m missing?

Thanks in advance for what’s likely a ‘noob’ question.

never mind. Figured it out. Used Pip to install flask-cors. Now I am getting errors in the db.py file :man_facepalming:

Hello Sandeep_48470,

Thanks for the note. What is the error you’re receiving from the db.py file?

Matt

this is the section of the movies.py where the error is pointing at:

@movies_api_v1.route(’/config-options’, methods=[“GET”])
def get_conn_pool_size():
try:
(pool_size, w_concern, user_info) = get_configuration()
return jsonify({
‘status’: ‘success’,
‘pool_size’: pool_size,
‘wtimeout’: w_concern.
_WriteConcern__document.get(‘wtimeout’, ‘0’),
**user_info
})
except Exception as e:
return jsonify({‘status’: ‘fail’, ‘error’: str(e)})

------error message is shown below----------
