Hi,
I’m not able to install the shell with brew. I’m getting an error that I don’t have permissions (when I do/ using sudo is not working either). Getting my OS re-installed asap.
In the mean time, is there some sort of other way I can download the shell?

Hi Maiya,
The Mongo Shell and other command line tools are available from
MongoDB download center <https://www.mongodb.com/download-center#enterprise>_. On that web page you can select the OS X version, click download and uncompress the file to a directory you have permissions. Hopefully then you should be able to run the the Mongo Shell ("/bin/mongo") from the command line.
