Running on port 27000 but still getting [Fail]

[FAIL] “The server is running on localhost:27000”
Did you launch mongod on port 27000?

This is the error I’m getting in m103 “Lab: configuration file” challenge.
Is this an internal error or is something wrong with my following config file?

Here is my .config file:
storage:
dbPath: “/data/db/”
systemLog:
path: “/data/logs/mongod.log”
destination: “file”
net:
bindIp : “127.0.0.1,192.168.103.100”
port: 27000
security:
authorization: enabled

Post screenshot that shows how you try to start mongod and the error you are getting.

Most likely it because you specified 192.168.103.100 in bindIp. This address is not valid in the IDE.

I’m using the following command to start mongod with config file:
mongod --config mongo.conf

A screenshot please.

Directories must exist.

And why did you keep 192.168.103.100 after I wrote?

My apologies I took the screenshot before modifying the file. I did remove the 192 ip and it was the directories. Just lack of thinking about the problem through on my part. Thank you.

Hi @Samuel_Goodnight, it looks like that your issue has been resolved so I’m closing this thread. Please feel free to create another thread if you have any other issues.
