Possibility of Speeding Up the Course

We have been covering MongoDB in my college databases class and our teacher mentioned the MongoDB Basics course as potential for credit in class. However, the deadline for the course is past the end of the semester. Is there anyway to remove the weekly restriction so the course could be completely complete within a week?

Sincerely,
Dylan Drake

Well speedy Dylan  there’s no restriction. The moment you complete all the labs for the current chapter, the next chapter becomes available regardless of the start date.

However, in order to obtain a course completion certificate, you must also have watched all the videos, answered all the quizzes, completed all the labs and exam questions.

Hi @Dylan_46027,

On MongoDB University, we have unlockable contents. What it means is that you can access the contents of the next chapter even before it’s start date if you have completed the previous chapter. This way you would be able to complete the course on your own pace. There is no restriction on how fast you can complete the course.

Hope it helps!

Hi Shubham_Ranjam,
The grading video said we would receive are statement of complete after the due date of the final. Does this mean we will not receive the certificate until the end of the course even if we finish the course before then?

Thanks,
Dylan

Hi @Dylan_46027,

On successful completion of course, what you receive is a proof of completion and not certification. MongoDB Certification is an entirely different program. For more information on how to become certified please visit this page.

You get the proof of completion as soon as you pass the course.

Hope it helps!
