Breakfast. It has to be coffee right?
I recently moved away from Oklahoma. The unofficial official food of Oklahoma is chicken fried steak, and I definitely miss that.
My favorite breakfast is Idly and Vada - Indian breakfast
I really enjoy a delicious pizza and Mountain Dew (or Pepsi) while watching football on Sundays.
Don’t do it often, but homemade sausage gravy is my favorite.
Brown & crumble sausage in pan/skillet, remove but keep grease.
Add 1 tbsp flour for each tbsp gravy whisk for 1 min (med. heat)
Gradually add milk (1/4 to 1/2 cup at a time), whisking until thick.
Add salt/pepper to taste.
Goes best on biscuits, but can top eggs, grits, oatmeal, and more. (Or be eaten on its own if thick enough!)
Pumpkin cheesecake paired with a coffee is a great afternoon snack.
There’s nothing like a slice of NYC pizza with xtra cheese and pepperoni!!
Now I just need a good biscuit recipe to go with this…
Pretty sure my husband would live off nothing but chicken fried steak if he could.
This is like a giant pot pie? You all are making me so hungry with these posts!
My go-to has been pizza, it has been getting me through 2020!
Kind of, It is full of beef, porc, patato and spices. It is cook during 8 hours. You put a little ketchup on it when you eat it is really good
Hello!
Here in Oklahoma, my favorite local food probably has to be the BBQ, specifically smoked brisket
