Mkdir issue - no valid sudoers sources found

Hi:

Does any one have idea why I am getting this error when running “mkdir” command (sudo mkdir -p /var/mongodb/pki/) ?

vagrant@m103:~$ sudo mkdir -p /var/mongodb/pki/
sudo: /etc/sudoers is owned by uid 1000, should be 0
sudo: no valid sudoers sources found, quitting
sudo: unable to initialize policy plugin

Hi there,

Check the ownership of /etc/sudoers. The sudoers file should be owned by the root user, user ‘0’.

Regards,
MongoDB University Team

Thank you for your response. Seems like it is owned by “vagrant”.

vagrant@m103:/etc$ ls -lrt sudo*
