M220JS mongoDb shell issues

MongoDB University M220JS: MongoDB for Javascript Developers

I am having issues with course setup, god knows I have tried.
I have an existing mongodb account with an organisation set up previously.
i have set up the new user with password and username M220.

No matter what I type into MongoDB Shell I get the same error message:

mongo “mongodb+srv://m220student:m220password@cluster0-yekah.mogodb.net/test”
2019-06-24T11:14:56.847+0100 E QUERY [js] SyntaxError: missing ; before statement @(shell):1:6

any help please, getting really frustrated, and thinking of binning this course already.

Please make sure you are running the connection query outside the Mongo Shell.

Also make sure:

  • The connection string is right, you can check using ATLAS
  • Firewall and Anti-virus is disabled

If you still face the issue, please share the connection string screenshot from atlas and also when you run it from the command line.
