Localhost:5000 "unable to connect"

Any trouble shooting tips out there when localhost:5000 isn’t connecting?

Is the server running?

How do I test that Steeve? I’ve been connecting to Mongo shell by srv and, I thought I’ve been connecting through local ip.

It is not mongod that listen to port 5000. It is the python server that you start with run.py.

Sorry Steeve. Took a break from the course to clear my head. I need to have python’s run.py running evidently. Thank you. If you have the time to educate me, what’s happening in run.py or .ini to make this port accessible?

run.py starts the web server awaiting for web browser.

Hi Ankit,

Could you post this in a new post so that you can help rather than posting to an existing question with a different problem ?

The error looks like you may not have installed the bson library correctly in your Anaconda environment, however please open a new question to get help with this if you are stilling having trouble running the program.

Kindest regards,
Eoin
