We are looking forward to getting started with Mongo DB Realm in our production app.
Is there any documentation for users using the Legacy Realm Cloud to migrate to the Mongo DB Realm?

We don’t have a guide available right now but it is something I am looking to build with MongoDB support. The thing to keep in mind here is that the sync versions are incompatible and any clients that are upgraded need to re-download their data from the new MongoDB Realm sync. Because of this you will need to move the Realm data in Realm Cloud and insert it as documents into MongoDB Atlas. Then enable sync
The basic steps would be:
- Convert your client app to now use the new API in the new SDK - the biggest thing here is the new ‘RealmApp’ config which now uses a partitionKey and the new Auth for logging in users - https://docs.mongodb.com/realm/ios/quick-start/
- Move your realm data over to MongoDB Atlas documents. Probably by using the realm-js SDK and node.js MongoDB driver -
- Enable sync and point updated clients to the new MongoDB Realm endpoint

Thank you for the explanation.
Until the guide is published, I will try each steps.
If any questions, I’ll ask them again on the forum.
