so, you see, it failed to start mongod. Fine, I try to do it manually myself:

vagrant@database:~/M310-HW-1.4$ mongod --dbpath ./db/ --logpath ./mongo.log

And no luck again. mongo.log reveals this:

The backup DB from the lab was built in 3.2. It can’t be upgraded from 3.2 to 3.6.
