There was an error while executing VBoxManage, a CLI used by Vagrant

for controlling VirtualBox. The command and stderr is shown below.

I use my phone as the hotspot to connect to the internet, does that matters?

Using hotspot for internet should not be a problem

I have solved the issue. it’s the MacOS’s security guard blocked VirtualBox to install some kernel components. Please close the topic, thx.

Also, lots of people reflect this issue on VirtualBox’s forum. The macOS Catalina has chenged a lot from the former version. (as far as I met, zsh was recommed to replaced bash, and more security/privacy options.)
