[FAIL] "Mongod was started with a configuration file"

I testing this to:

net:
port: 27000
security:
authorization: enable

but say: 2021-06-03T09:20:54.721+0000 F CONTROL [main] Failed global initialization: BadValue: security.authorization must be a string of the format: (disabled/enabled)

Hello! I am Spanish so I am very sorry for my grammar mistakes in English

I’m going crazy. I have tried many things to start the configuration but I cant (can you see 10 test terminals? jejeje)

I follow the directions shown in the laboratory:

  1. I connect with mongod --port 27000 --auth
  2. Fill my mongod.conf with things like:
    storage:
    dbPath: “/data/db”
    systemLog:
    path: “/data/log/mongod.log”
    destination: “file”
    replication:
    replSetName: M103

or stupid things like re-port or authentication… I only trying.
When I execute mongod --config mongod.conf (at the same terminal), just nothing happens
3. Later just in case I open a new terminal an execute the last command to create a new user.

But I always have the same problem:
Captura de pantalla 2021-06-03 a las 11.19.27

Thank you people!

Hi @Veronica_Moreno_Flor , welcome to the community.
It looks like you have a syntax error in your mongod.conf file, can you please refer to Step-4 in the documentation for enabling access control.

In case you have any doubts please feel free to reach out to us.

Thanks & Regards.
