Faceted search in UI

I’m trying to figure out how to enable faceted search results in UI.
I’m not the first one, according to those old posts :

Wrong information on ticket faceted search [Solved]

Hi @Miguel_69790 I’ve made some changes to our lesson notes and these should be live shortly and contain clearer instructions on what exactly to edit in the index.html file. Thanks for your help in making our courses better! Eoin

So, to resume what I tried/know :

• index.html is available in the “build” directory
• this file is probably automatically generated, so there’s no indentation at all
• even replacing the text, as mentionned in the Ticket, nothing appears when I try a search
• btw, the Cast search is jammed, always freezing my UI when I try it

Has anyone find a way to apply the UI part of this ticket ?

Yes, you are right!

Please try clearing the cache or running the application in incognito mode after changing the code in build/index.html.

Let me know if it works.

Clearing the cache or running Firefox in incognito mode has no effect.

Furthermore, I tested some search by genre and, even with the solution given in the ticket, I noticed strange results. I tried a genre search with the keyword ‘animation’ and :

• either the web page is frozen
• either it gives me ‘Titanic’ of James Cameron as first result. In fact it sometimes gives me the default result page

When the web page is frozen, here is the log message I got (from the command shell where I launch “npm start”) :
GET /api/v1/movies/search?genre=animation 304 85.033 ms - -


I got the same issue with the cast search.
