Error executing command

Hi All,

Can anyone please guide me what is wrong with this read operation?

MongoDB Enterprise Cluster0-shard-0:PRIMARY> db.shipwrecks.find({$or: [{“watlev”:{$eq:”always dry”}},{“depth”:{$eq:0}}]})
2019-06-18T20:01:19.783+0530 E QUERY [js] SyntaxError: illegal character @(shell):1:41

I am connected to ships DB here. Thanks… Also, when i used Compass, results shown by watlev:always dry were two less than options available in chapter 3 quiz 4.

Your quotes are the problem
Did you cut & paste from word or other doc?
Use double quotes. When you cut & paste they are appearing as inverted commas and failing

MongoDB Enterprise Cluster0-shard-0:PRIMARY> show collections
shipwrecks
Your command fired as it is
MongoDB Enterprise Cluster0-shard-0:PRIMARY> db.shipwrecks.find({$or: [{“watlev”:{$eq:”always dry”}},{“depth”:{$eq:0}}]})
2019-06-18T21:09:31.164+0530 E QUERY [js] SyntaxError: illegal character @(shell):1:27

Mine
MongoDB Enterprise Cluster0-shard-0:PRIMARY> db.shipwrecks.find({$or: [{“watlev”:{$eq:“always dry”}},{“depth”:{$eq:0}}]})
{ “_id” : ObjectId(“578f6fa3df35c7fbdbaeea05”), “recrd” : “”, “vesslterms” : “”, “feature_type” : “Wrecks - Visible”, “chart” :
