Download/Install Vagrant: 3. Choose the Destination Folder

In the class instructions for Download/Install Vagrant:
The step 3. Click Next on the Welcome to the Vagrant Setup Wizard and accept the “End User Agreement”. Choose the Destination Folder for Vagrant installation and click the “Install” button (Note: It might take a few minutes before the installation is completed).

?? is there a specific Destination Folder we are to use or should we just use the default (or it does not matter…?)

You can install anywhere but please stick to the instructions given in your course
They would have mentioned path C:\Users\username\m103… something like that

You can go with the default options.

Once the installation is complete then you can verify it by running the following command in Command
Prompt:

cd C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox
vboxmanage --version

A number, representing the version of VirtualBox, should be printed as output if the
installation was successful.

so I used the default option. then I realized your reply seems to be for VirtualBox whereas this post is discussing Vagrant…

but indeed as per the instruction PDF the command prompt
of: vagrant – version
does return a version number and so all is well. thank you.
