Deleting Documents, Compass: I needed to reconnect after adding a new Collection

Deleting Documents

After adding the new reviews collection to the video database, Compass will show it when we click in the video database in the left column but:

  • It will not show reviews in the left column inside (tree) video
  • Clicking in reviews in the right pane will not open the collection

I disconnected and connected again to force Compass to update.

Hi @Javier_72724,

MongoDB Compass does cache a bunch of information so I suggest, after creating a collection, either via the Compass UI or via the mongo shell, you should hit the fresh button in the databases tab
