Default Connection Pool Size for Drivers

Hello everyone,

Hope I’m not nitpicking, but in Chapter 4, Lecture 2, the instructor mentions that the default connection pool size for MongoDB drivers is 100. Whereas This page, states that the default pool size for the Node.js driver is 5. So is he referring to something else or has the behavior changed in newer versions of MongoDB Node.js driver?

Also, I was wondering if there’s any documentation on choosing the right connection pool size for MongoDB drivers?

Great catch. Let me verify this and come back to you

Any update to this question , pls?

I also had the same question. The link references version 2.1. I think this class might be obsolete, since the Node.js Driver is already on 4.0.
