Connecting to MongoDB through a site with PHP

I apologize in advance if this question has been asked or the answer to my problem is simple and can be found easily.

I couldn’t find any help for connecting to MongoDB through a site.
Basically, what I have, is a site, and I want to connect to MongoDB and check my database, but I don’t know what I need to do.

Again, sorry if this problem can be solved easily and I’m just being dumb.
