connection is not happening - mongodb shell vs sanbox cluster
You need to use the mongo command as shown in the lectures.
In addition to the
mongo command also include the
username in the connection string.
For example, this is what the connection string for the
class Atlas cluster looks like :
mongo "mongodb+srv://cluster0-jxeqq.mongodb.net/test" --username m001-student --password m001-mongodb-basics
@ Shubham_ranjan thanks for reply , I have tried with mongo “mongodb://cluster0-shard-00-00-jxeqq.mongodb.net:27017,cluster0-shard-00-01-jxeqq.mongodb.net:27017,cluster0-shard-00-02-jxeqq.mongodb.net:27017/test?replicaSet=Cluster0-shard-0” --authenticationDatabase admin --ssl --username m001-student --password m001-mongodb-basics and getting error as attached
Have you installed mongodb on your system?
If yes have you updated mongodb/bin into your Windows path?
You can check by running path command at your Windows prompt
You can also check if mongo command working or not by giving full path of mongo.exe
or cd to the path where your mongodb/bin residing
