Can't connect compass to database

MongoDB University M001: MongoDB Basics

Hi folks,
I dont’t get Compass working. I put in the Logininformation which is told in the course. I crosschecked it several times, if I had a typo, but there is no one. I get following error code:

Authentification failed

I checked the ports too, but they are working.

Hi @Michail_52464,

Please ensure the following:

  1. There are no blank spaces present in the password field that you are passing (sometimes copy-paste introduces some junk characters).
  2. You are able to ping cluster0-shard-00-00-jxeqq.mongodb.net

If all the points mentioned above is not an issue then can you please try to connect from some other network such as your home network ?

Thanks fo your quick reply. It works now in my home network. Do you think Proxy-Issues could be the reason for failing in the company network?
