Analyze Schema doesn't open

Hi all,

I can not complete the Lab 1.7 because I do not see the scheme ships.shipwrecks.
MongoDB Compass version 1.18.0 (stable) Windows 64bit.
I tried several times to reinstall the program and wait a few hours.
I have good internet connectivity.
It worked on my first day of training, the problem appeared the next day.

Me too facing same problem. Restarted, Reinstalled MongoDB Compass to no success. I’m getting blank screen when trying to complete Lab 1.7

I’m on Windows 7 64-bit. Could use any help

It may be an issue with the Internet Connection. Please check your internet connection and try again.

You are right, I disabled a second network interface. Schema analyze is working now.

I tried many times, but couldn’t able to get it working. I even tried importing that collection to my local mongo db, now Schema Analyze worked for the first time, but the map didn’t load. There after not even the Schema Analyze worked. It shows blank screen. Do you have anything else that I could try?
Note: I’m learning this course in my Amazon WorkSpace(AWS).

Please check the instructions mentioned in the following post:

Mostly reinstalling Compass latest (1.18.0 stable) version and good internet connectivity helps with this type of issue.

Are you not able to view schema for ships.shipwrecks collection only?

I tried all steps that are available in all related discussions to that issue.
This is my MongoDB Compass version

Sometimes on clicking Analyze Schema shows blank screen

Sometimes the button itself doesn’t work. I’m not sure what’s the issue here

NOTE: I’m using Amazon WorkSpace hosted in US Location. Does it ring any bell?

Edit 1: Errors on dev tools. If this is of any help

Edit 2: I got it working by installing MongoDB Compass in my local machine which runs on Windows 10. I think there is some restriction in my AWS which caused that issue. Thanks for your support

schema view option is not at all in my community

We do not have Schema tab in the community edition of the MongoDB Compass. You can use this link to download the 1.18.0 (Stable) version MongoDB Compass.

I faced the exact same issue. I clicked on the STOP AND SHOW PARTIAL RESULTS button in the Schema tab as it was the only other option available at the time. It’s a workaround.Even after trying multiple times I’m experiencing the same. Hope we could find the cause and explanation for this. Does having a huge quantity of data impact the Schema?

Please check your internet connection for this issue. Generally, schema analysis in Compass is based on Sampling of data for efficiency.
